Ingredients

  • For Decoration: 100 g (3.5 oz) white chocolate melted, Green gel food coloring, 12 strawberries (hulled, washed, and dried), Assorted sprinkles and/or edible stars, 12 small marshmallows (optional for hat base)

Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a square 20x20 cm (8x8-inch) baking pan with parchment paper.
Melt Butter:
Melt the butter in a saucepan or microwave let cool slightly.
Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a bowl whisk together melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla whisking until smooth.
Add Dry Ingredients:
Sift in flour cocoa powder and salt. Mix gently until just combined.
Bake Brownies:

Cut Brownies:
Once cool cut brownies into 12 squares.
Tint Chocolate:

Assemble Hats:
Place a marshmallow on each brownie square if using then set a strawberry (pointed side up) on top to form the hat.
Decorate:
Spoon or pipe green chocolate over each strawberry to resemble a Christmas tree. Decorate immediately with sprinkles and/or edible stars.
Set Chocolate:
Let set for 10 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate briefly until chocolate hardens.
