03 - 1.76 oz pistachios, shelled and unsalted
04 - 1.41 oz unsweetened shredded coconut
05 - Zest of 1 orange
06 - 2 tbsp orange blossom water

08 - 1 tbsp sesame seeds
09 - 2 tbsp honey (for brushing)

# Method:

01 - Slice each date lengthwise on one side and carefully remove the pit, preserving the date’s structure.
02 - Use small cookie cutters to form half the dates into crescents and the other half into stars by gently pressing and trimming.
03 - Lightly crush almonds and pistachios, then combine with orange zest, shredded coconut, and orange blossom water until evenly mixed.
04 - Carefully spoon or press the nut mixture into each date, shaping it to align with the moon and star forms.
05 - Place the filled dates on a serving platter in an attractive, festive design.
06 - Warm honey slightly, brush over the dates for gloss, then sprinkle with sesame seeds and optionally adorn with edible gold leaf.
